All of our EMT courses are hybrid in format. Students complete all "book work" independently prior to attending in-class skills sessions. This format works extremely well for students who do not have the 150+ hours to attend a traditional EMT course. However, students must be able to learn material on their own by reading the textbook, or listening to an audiobook. Additional resources are provided to help students learn, including PowerPoint slides, chapter outlines, and flash cards for each chapter. Interactive lectures are also available from the publisher for an additional fee.
After completing the "book work", students complete at-home skills work, which takes an additional 24–30 hours to complete, prior to coming in for 2 ½ to 3 days of mandatory in-person skills sessions.
